Scheduling note: Sessions are scheduled collaboratively based on mutual availability. Each session lasts approximately one hour. How This Support Is Structured This is a short‑term support service that unfolds over approximately 8 weeks and includes 4 one‑on‑one sessions, scheduled every other week. The pacing is intentionally slower. Time between sessions allows for reflection, adjustment, and integration, especially when energy, focus, or emotional capacity may fluctuate. This rhythm supports steadiness rather than urgency. About This Service Health Crisis Emotional Support is designed for individuals navigating a medical diagnosis, ongoing health condition, or a health‑related life disruption. Health challenges often affect far more than the body. They can reshape daily routines, sense of identity, work capacity, relationships, decision‑making, and one’s feeling of safety or certainty. Even with medical care in place, many people need space to process what is happening and adapt to a new reality. This service offers calm, grounded support so you do not have to hold everything alone or make complex decisions while overwhelmed. What We Focus On Together Across the four sessions, support may include: Session 1 – Creating Stability Clarifying what is happening, identifying immediate emotional or practical stressors, and supporting steadiness in the present moment. Session 2 – Living With Change Exploring how your health situation is affecting energy, routines, work, and relationships, and identifying realistic adjustments that honour your current capacity. Session 3 – Boundaries, Communication, and Support Clarifying boundaries, preparing or reflecting on conversations with employers, family members, or care teams, and identifying supports that reduce strain and decision fatigue. Session 4 – Integration and Gentle Forward Planning Bringing together what has emerged, identifying what feels sustainable, and creating a gentle sense of direction rooted in clarity rather than pressure. It is not medical treatment, diagnosis, or therapy, and does not replace professional healthcare.
